Ovulation cycle

Ovulation cycle, otherwise called as menstrual cycle is the series of changes that occur in female for sexual reproduction. The ovulation cycle occurs every month and it is during this time that the eggs are produced and the uterus prepares for pregnancy. The length of the cycle may vary from 25 to 35 days but the average length is 28 days. Many hormonal changes taking place inside the fertile female body is the reason for menstruation. 

The ovulation cycle starts from the first day of bleeding in the current month to the previous day of next month’s bleeding. Usually, the bleeding will last for 5 to 6 days based on age and many other factors. The 14th day from the last day of the menstrual cycle is the most fertile day for the women. Ovulation occurs during this day and the chances of a female getting pregnant are maximum on that day.
